Pleasant View Park

Pleasant View Park Phase 2

Pleasant View Park is a 5.76-acre City of Missoula neighborhood park at 4024 Lexington Avenue. It serves the 653 homes of England's Pleasant View neighborhood and the growing Mary Jane corridor. In 2011, neighbors paid for a professional planning charrette, and the Missoula Parks Board adopted the resulting master plan. The playground was built in 2015; most of the rest of the plan is still waiting.

Today the park is busy with families at the playground, dog walkers, and youth soccer and football practices on the open lawn. It still has no shelter, restroom, paved paths, or courts. The City is moving forward on an east-west pathway, and a tennis and basketball court has been approved. Neighbors' top request in a 2026 survey was a picnic shelter with restrooms.

Donations through Friends of Missoula Parks help complete Phase 2 in partnership with Missoula Parks & Recreation. Gifts are tax-deductible and held in a restricted fund for this project.
